Introduction
Congratulations on your decision to take the Cambridge ESOL （English for Speakers of Other Languages） Examinations at the British Council， known in China as the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in Beijing and of the British Consulates-General in Shanghai， Guangzhou and Chongqing. Cambridge ESOL examinations are one step towards achieving your goal of obtaining an internationally recognised qualification.
British Council China is the registered test centre ICFE （International Certificate in Financial English）. We are pleased to be able to offer this service to you.

Registration Procedures
Application forms are available at the Reception desk of British Council offices. They can be submitted either by post or in person.
To register for the ICFE examination， you need
•A passport photo
•A completed application form
•The examination fee
Payment and Cancellation
1. Examination Fees： ICFE RMB 900
2.Payment Terms
•The above fees can be paid by the candidate in RMB cash or by postal order addressed to British Council office address.
•Exam fees must be paid by the entry deadline indicated along with the exam timetable.
3. Cancellation and absence for Examinations
•For cancellations 5 working days prior to the examination， 50% of the local fee can be refunded to the candidate providing that an application in writing accompanied by sufficient evidence is submitted. Sufficient evidence includes：
?Documentation issued by an authorised medical institution
?Documentation bearing both the signature of the doctor and stamp of the institution
?An indication that the situation bars the candidate from taking the exam on the scheduled date.
•For cancellations within 5 working days of the examination or， in the case of absence from the exam， we regret that no fee can be refunded.
